★★★★★“It helped me reflect on my own experiences and understand how boundaries can actually be an expression of love rather than a lack of it.”

Clarity Conversations with Jon
When it’s too personal to sort out alone.
A private session to slow down, untangle the pressure, name what is happening, and discern your next faithful step. You’ll share your background in a short intake form first, so your time is spent on what matters.
For one specific situation you want help thinking through.
For layered situations tied to a larger family or marriage dynamic.

Our story
We're Jon and Ashley.
We're a husband-and-wife team who know that loving your family and maintaining healthy relationships are not always the same thing.
Our own experiences with family pressure, difficult boundaries, faith, and estrangement challenged much of what we thought we understood about relationships. They also changed the way we think about honesty, accountability, marriage, forgiveness, and healing.
Leave Then Cleave grew from those experiences. Today, through our podcast, books, resources, and community, we help others recognize unhealthy patterns and move toward relationships built on truth, respect, and love.
Sometimes the first step toward something healthier is learning what you can no longer carry.
